Venison Cuzzy Style
1 lb venison 1 cup tomato juice
¼ cup Flour 1/8 tsp oregano
1 tsp salt ½ bay leaf
½ tsp pepper ½ cup water
¼ cup shortening ¾ cup sour cream
½ cup sliced mushrooms 1 cup chopped celery
¼ cup chopped onion 8 oz noodles
Cut venison into 1/2 inch cubes. Coat with a mixture of flour, salt and pepper. Heat shortening in skillet and brown venison cubes. Add mushrooms and chopped onion. Sauté until onion is tender. Stir in tomato juice, oregano, bay leaf, and water. Simmer 25 minutes, or until venison is tender. Add sour cream and chopped celery. Simmer, covered, for 15 minutes. Remove bay leaf. Serve over prepared noodles. Top with Cuzzy’s Key West Sauces.
